About Steadyhaul

Why Steadyhaul exists

Small fleet owners have always gotten the short end. The big fleet management platforms — Samsara, Motive, Verizon Connect — are built for operations with dedicated fleet managers and six-figure IT budgets. They require hardware, long contracts, and months of onboarding. For an owner running 5 to 10 trucks out of a regional dispatch yard, that's not a solution: it's another cost center.

Fleetio went the other direction and made something simple enough for small fleets to use — but it's reactive. It reminds you to schedule service you already knew you needed. It doesn't tell you what's about to break.

Steadyhaul was built to own the ground between those two worlds: predictive intelligence at a price that makes sense for the operator who signs every check themselves.

What we built

The core of Steadyhaul is a maintenance prediction engine that surfaces warning signals before they become breakdowns. Pair that with parts pricing intelligence (so you're never paying more than you should at the shop) and fuel optimization data (so you know which routes are eating your margin), and you have a platform that actually moves your bottom line.

The whole thing runs in a browser — no hardware, no installation, no contract. Monthly subscription, flat rate per fleet, cancel any time.

Who it's for

Steadyhaul is built for the owner who drives one of the trucks themselves. The one who checks the P&L at the kitchen table on Sunday night. Who knows every driver by name and every route by feel, but doesn't have time to chase down three vendors every time a truck needs a part.

If you're running 5 to 10 trucks in the U.S. and you're tired of being surprised by the shop bill — this is built for you.

The flat rate

Every plan is priced per fleet, not per truck. That's a deliberate choice. We don't think you should be penalized for growing. Steadyhaul's incentives are aligned with yours: we only win when your fleet wins.

Starter covers up to 5 trucks at $49/month. Fleet covers up to 10 trucks at $89/month — the plan most operators run on. Pro covers up to 20 trucks at $129/month.

No long-term commitment. No setup fee. Cancel any time.
